Meet the Claw Crew: Rohelyn Matas
Movement That Fits Real Life
There’s a version of fitness that happens in gyms, classes, and perfectly planned workout routines.
And then there’s the version that happens while raising four kids.
For Rohelyn Matas, movement right now is less about following the perfect fitness routine and more about finding ways to stay active within the life she’s actually living.
Rohelyn is a mom of four, a UGC creator, and a storyteller creating relatable content around motherhood, beauty, and lifestyle. Based in Kansas and currently four months postpartum, she’s focused on getting stronger again, staying consistent, and finding a routine that works for this particular season of her life.
That might mean a walk. It might mean staying active with her kids throughout the day. And soon, it’ll include adding at-home workouts into the mix.
It all counts.
Starting Where You Are
Rohelyn’s approach to movement is grounded in realism.
She believes making fitness more approachable means helping people see that movement doesn’t have to be perfect or require hours at the gym.
Her advice?
“Don’t overthink movement, start where you are and do what feels good for your body. Consistency matters more than perfection.”
It’s an especially meaningful perspective four months postpartum.
Rather than measuring her current routine against another stage of life, Rohelyn is focused on getting stronger, creating consistency, and figuring out what works for her now.
Movement for Every Body
To Rohelyn, Movement for Every Body means movement that is inclusive, realistic, and accessible regardless of someone’s fitness level or stage of life.
That can look different from person to person and even different for the same person as life changes.
For a busy or postpartum mom, movement may not happen according to a perfectly structured schedule. Sometimes it happens on a walk. Sometimes while playing with the kids. Sometimes in a quick workout at home.
Making movement accessible starts by recognizing that all of those versions count.
Comfort That Can Keep Up
Motherhood has also changed what Rohelyn values in the products she uses.
“As a mom of 4, I’ve learned how important it is to have activewear that feels comfortable, supportive, and easy to move in. I’m always looking for pieces that can keep up with my everyday life.”
Her sports bra struggles include tight compression, sweat, limited mobility, and the all-too-familiar fight to get one off after a workout.
Those little frustrations can become another barrier around movement, especially when you’re already balancing a lot.
It’s part of what interested her in BraClaw and its focus on making an everyday frustration easier.
Finding BraClaw in the Everyday
Rohelyn sees BraClaw fitting into the same places movement already happens in her life: walks, workouts, and everyday activity.
She was drawn to the idea of products designed around women’s comfort and movement, and she sees the potential benefit extending to other postpartum moms, busy moms, and women who want to stay active while feeling comfortable and supported.
That everyday perspective is also exactly what she wants to bring to the Claw Crew through lifestyle content, product demos, storytelling, honest reviews, and plenty of relatable mom-life moments.
Community at Every Stage
For Rohelyn, the Claw Crew is about more than creating content.
It means “being part of a community that encourages women to move, feel confident, and embrace movement at every stage of life.”
That idea gets right to the heart of why we wanted her here.
Movement changes. Bodies change. Routines change. Life definitely changes.
You don’t have to wait for the perfect routine, perfect fitness level, or perfect season of life to start where you are.
