Every Hero has an Origin Story….
OUR MISSION
We make everyday movement easier by solving problems women have learned to live with—but shouldn’t have to.
BraClaw was created to take the frustration out of something simple: getting out of a tight, sweaty bra. It’s a small moment that can feel unnecessarily difficult, especially after a workout, long day, or limited mobility.
We believe thoughtful design can make a real difference in everyday routines—and that even the smallest solutions can have a meaningful impact.
OUR STORY
What came first, the BraClaw or the name?
The answer takes us to the Amalfi Coast in spring 2024, where cofounders Kristin and Chris were celebrating a friend’s milestone birthday. On their last night, an enthusiastic waiter convinced the group to order the daily special: lobster. What followed was… more lobster than anyone expected. “Lobstergate” was born.
On the ride back to the hotel, somewhere between laughter and full bellies, the conversation shifted to ideas—the kind you sit on for years.
Kristin shared one she knew well.
After countless hot yoga classes and the all-too-familiar struggle of removing a sweaty sports bra, she knew there had to be a better way. That night, the idea clicked—and so did the name: BraClaw.
Back home, Kristin and Chris got to work. They partnered with engineers, developed prototypes, and refined the design through real testing and iteration.
What started as a simple idea is now a thoughtfully designed tool that helps make a frustrating moment easier.
